RED has again improved their RED ONE camera system with the addition of the Mysterium-X sensor. The main difference between 'M' and 'MX' sensor is the ability to push the sensor to higher ISO's without the introduction of noise. This enables the user to shoot in low light situations and still achieve a workable image. A new Optical Low Pass Filter block's IR pollution so the need for a IR filter is greatly reduced. Lastly the 'MX' sensor provides the user with 13 stops of Digital Range instead of the Mysterium's 11 stops.
