Installing the Rialto Extension unit is quick and easy.
The lens mount and sensor block is one sealed component and can easily be separated from the body by removing six hex screws. By keeping everything sealed you don’t run the risk of dust or debris entering the sensor and internal electronics while disassembling.
One of the most exciting things about the Rialto is the ability to get the camera down to a compact, almost DSLR-like, size.
Once the camera head is separated from the processor unit it can fit into places once too large for the entire camera body. It is extremely compact for handheld operating or for rigging in tight spots. The best part is there are no recording limitations while utilizing the Rialto. The camera and sensor head think that they are still one complete unit. The tether cable is 9’ but can be extended to 18’.
